Gene targeting in the gram-positive bacterium Lactococcus lactis, using various delta ribozymes

Abstract: A study was conducted on the use of two variants of the trans-acting anti-genomic delta ribozyme targeting the abundant EF-Tu mRNA in the industrially important gram-positive bacterium Lactococcus lactis. The results showed the high stability in vivo, of the two variants, when expressed at significant levels.
