Abstract

Two color resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionization (REMPI) scheme of NO2 through the E (super 2)SIGMA(sub u)(super +) Rydberg state was used to prepare NO2(super +) in its ground and vibrational states. A model is proposed to account for both the collision energy and the vibrational state dependence.
