Abstract

The efforts of the National Wildlife Federation and Dr. Rex Hancock, a lifelong leader of the Arkansas Wildlife Federation of the Citizens Committee to save the Cache River, black swamp and the 'extinct' ivory-billed woodpecker, are discussed.
