Abstract

Labor leaders, management representatives, union business agents and rank-and-file members agree that even though health insurance is one of the most important benefits for union construction workers, the costs are spiraling and the problem is out of control. It is suggested that unions need to improve efficiencies in how medical costs are handled and need to come up with a solution.
