Abstract

The model networks (MNs) of different macromonomers (MAC) structures were prepared by a sequence of atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) from a degradable halide-containing initiator, post-polymerization transformation (PPT), and copper(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). It was found that the general scheme of ATRP, PPT, and CuAAC overcomes many of the inherent difficulties of MN synthesis.
