Abstract
- A concise synthesis of neodysiherbaine A, and its structural analogues is described. An investigation of the described preliminary structure-activity relationship studies reveals that the alpha-oriented C9 hydro group is a critical element required for selective binding to the GluR5 kainate receptor subunit.
