Edinburgh management and union to forge unique alliance to address fixed-term

Abstract

Edinburgh University has agreed to a partnership project with the three campus unions to manage the move to permanent contracts. New European Union regulations mean that universities must move casual staff to permanent contracts to avoid tribunal cases.
