Abstract
- Indian students choose to go to Australian universities more because of aims to become permanent residents than because of the reputation of the universities, according to research by Michiel Baas, honorary research fellow at Monash University. Of Indian students completing courses in Australia in 2003, three quarters obtained visas allowing them to stay in the country.
