Abstract
- A study of 72 cities in Los Angeles County shows that alcohol availability is geographically connected to alcohol-related problems. Income level is not significantly related to alcohol availability and associated problems with less number of injury crashes occurring in wealthy areas. This research is important to policy makers who determine the number of alcohol outlets.
