Abstract
- The Gnutella with Efficient Search (GES) is presented by combining techniques from information retrieval (IR) algorithms, such as Vector Space Model (VSM) and relevance ranking algorithms, and peer-to-peer (P2P) computing to enhance search performance in terms of search efficiency and quality of search results. The results have shown that GES is efficient and even outperforms the centralized node clustering system SETS.
