Abstract
- Transmission electron microscopic studies of Cu ion-implanted Cu nanoclusters reveals that ion beam current defines size and arrangement of Cu clusters. Optical absorption spectra show a size-dependent surface plasmon resonance in the nonlinear coefficients of two-photon absorption and refraction. The nonlinear and linear optical properties of these nanoclusters are used in nonlinear optical devices.
