Abstract
- The success of a group of critical literary workers to educate the natives in Papua New Guinea, using innovative ideas of community regulation and development, prompted the government to reform its education policies. The new system helps design an alphabet and produce textbooks within a week, while conventional institutions such as the Summer Institute of Linguistics take five years.
