Novel copper-complex-substituted tungstogermanates

Abstract

Two copper-complex-substituted tungstogermanates are hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The results have shown that the transition metal complexes (TMCs) can stabilize the lacunary polyoxometalates species formed in situ and by further changes of the TMCs, novel transition-metal-substituted polyoxometalates (TMSPs) can be obtained under rational conditions.
