Abstract
- Cell hydrophobicity depends on rhamnolipid biosurfactant concentration and octadecane biodegradation controlled by surface properties of the degrading cells and the aqueous dispersion of octadecane. Biodegradation by fast degraders is reduced and that by slow degraders is increased at high rhamnolipid levels.
