Abstract
- The energy barrier model was extended to calculate the coercivity of iridium inclusions in the substrate as a function of position and size. Coercivity was associated with local maxima in the anisotropy energy and local wall energy decrease. Coercivity did not vary linearly with inclusion depth and size of the substrate material.
