Abstract
- The success of integrated health care delivery systems depends substantially on the primary care physicians that they are able to recruit. These physicians represent their vital link to patients since they are mainly responsible for the provision of primary services. Thus, healthcare systems compete actively in the market to recruit quality physicians. Their affiliations must forge a balance between the organization's and the physicians' needs.
