Abstract

The degree of substitution that entails the use of chelating ligands is studied which stabilizes the complexes of the type [Fe-Fe]-hydrogenases. It is suggested that the dithiolato complexes with unsymmetrical coordination environments has led to a better understanding of the influence of the dithiolate on the stereochemistry of these complexes.
