Abstract

Two surveys conducted on 166 young school students showed that they were concerned about issues such as drug abuse, the environment and other world issues. The issue of drug abuse elicited strong reactions from the children, who were against the abuse of narcotics by their friends and family and suggested several ways to deal with a situation involving drug abuse by a sibling or friend. The survey was used as the basis for the educational television series 'The Ghostwriter.'
