Abstract

The modified American policy and the growth of oil and gas traffic which has led to the shift in the importance of Black Sea and the western Balkan parts of southeast Europe, has put Romania and Bulgaria in fundamentally new external situations. The dynamic of the Turkish accession process has been found to highly affect the international relations of Romania and Bulgaria, in addition to their ties with EU and Turkey.
