Early intervention: Pentagon eyes ways to encourage JSF partners to accelerate F-35 buys

The Pentagon is looking for ways to reduce the increasing costs of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). It is trying to encourage its international partners to buy some of their aircraft earlier and this shift has made the production slots available for JSF partners, as well as others like Israel and Singapore.
