Abstract: The analysis describes the implementation of the chemically patterned microspheres for controlled nanoparticle assembly in the construction of surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) hot spots. The approach facilitates the analysis of the plasmonic and other optically active nanostructures that highly depend on size, shape and crystallinity.
