The Laplacian classifier

A novel classifier is developed in a kernel feature space related to the eigenspectrum of the Laplacian data matrix. It is shown that the new classifier has performed better than the Parzen window Bayes classifier and in many cases it is comparable to the support vector machine, at a computationally lower cost.
