Abstract
- The assembly and structural characterization of a discrete endo-type disilver(I) complex and a mixture of three-dimensional (3D) copper(I) iodide products derived from a calyx[4]bis(thiacrown) is presented. Rhomboidic Cu-[I.sub.2]-Cu and cubane-type [Cu.sub.4][I.sub.4] units are used for discriminating two exo-coordinated CuI complexes in the mixed product.
