Metal-mediated peptide assembly: Use of metal coordination to change the oligomerization state of an alpha-helical coiled-coil

A different use of metal coordination is explored to alter the oligomerization state of coiled-coils and to show how the coordination of metal ions to the hydrophilic exterior of a stable two-stranded coiled-coil can result in the formation of a tetrameric metal-peptide assembly.
