Abstract

Study of the magnetic properties of the synthesized compound (Fe(heidi)(H2O))2 by the alternating current and direct current susceptibility measurements reveals that the clusters have a ground state spin of less than 33/2. The compound crystallizes in a triclinic space group with different crystallographic parameters. Experimental data reveal that the (Fe(heidi)(H2O))2 is a dinuclear iron(III) compound in which two iron atoms are attached to each other by an alkoxide function.
