The weather in the United Kingdom during November 1994-February 1995 was the warmest it has been since records began in the 1860s. Worldwide crop production is being affected. Global temperatures are expected to increase by 1 degree C by the year 2040, the quickest rate of warming since the Ice Age 8,000 years BC.
