Increased support for federal Conservatives

A Gallup survey conducted June 12-16, 1995, found that the Progressive Conservatives continue to gain the support of the Canadian public, with 20% saying they would support the Conservatives in a national election, up from 9% in April. Jean Chretien's ru;ng Liberal Party still has a significant advantage, however, with 53% of the public's support. The Reform Party would be first choice for 10% of Canadians.
