New industry consulting practice aids

Periodically, the AICPA issues practice aids to assist practitioners in providing services to various industries. Practices aids help practitioners identify issues as well as the resources needed to conduct engagements. Industry Consulting Practice Aids are particularly helpful to practitioners who are considering (1) offering initial or additional consulting services to clients in an industry, (2) offering consulting services to clients who are entering or considering entry into the industry, (3) expanding their practice by marketing services to potential clients in the industry, and (4) undertaking a cooperative engagement by arranging for an industry specialist from outside the firm to assist a client.
