Abstract
- A Gallup survey conducted Aug 7-13, 1995 found that 59% of the Canadian public approves of the job Jean Chretien is doing as their nation's Prime minister, down from 60% a month earlier. Twenty-three percent are unsatisfied with the job Chretien is doing. Chretien is most well-liked in Ontario where 73% of the public support him, and less-well received in Quebec, where only 44% are satisfied with the job he is doing.
