Abstract

A donut-mode beam is used with two more overlapping laser beams in order to enhance the imaging resolution through selective switching to the nonfluorescent photoswited state. The analysis has shown the possibility of obtaining enhanced resolution by using the efficient and thermally stable fluorescent protein Dronpa photoswitching.
