Abstract
- Compound 1 (AMG 076) is identified as a potent melanin-concentrating hormone receptor 1 (MCHr1) antagonist for the treatment of obesity. Two complementary reductive amination strategies using either aldehyde or lactol have led to the synthesis of the title compound 1.
