Abstract

An analytical electron density of states (DOS) is derived for zigzag and armchair single-wall carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The effective mass and equilibrium carrier densities have enabled an accurate analytical description of transport and electrostatics in nondegenerate CNT devices.
