A facile method to fabricate ZnO hollow spheres and their photocatalytic property

A simple method to prepare ZnO nanoshells with very good photocatalytic activity which involves the use the sulfonated polystyrene core-shell spheres as template is demonstrated. The wall thickness of ZnO spheres could be altered by addition Zn[(Ac).sub.2]*2[H.sub.2]O into the ethanol dispersion of the template spheres.
