Abstract

A Gallup survey conducted Sept. 6-11, 1995, found that the Liberal Party still has the support of most Canadians, with 54% of decided voters saying they would vote for the Liberals in a federal election. The party has maintained support levels between 53% and 56% since Apr. 1995. The Conservative Party would receive 16% of the votes in a federal election, followed the Bloc Quebecois, with 9%. Thirty-two percent of those surveyed were undecided.
