Abstract

An empirical study based on the research efforts of F. Glahe and F. Vorhies uses macroeconomic data to measure the influence of religion as transmitted through both public and private institutions upon economic performance. Various US Judeo-Christian populations and economic performance by state are perceived differently. Reports show the existence of significant interrelationships between religion variables and economic performance.
