Abstract

A study was conducted among older women who had survived a cardiac arrest to assess the factors that govern the level of physical exercise undertaken by them. Results revealed cognitive factors, life course issues, and social and ecological determinants of exercise as barriers older women face and presented suggestions that social support was needed to overcome the same.
