Kinetics study of the OH Alkene reaction [H.sub.2]O Alkenyl reaction class

The kinetics of hydrogen abstraction for the OH alkene reaction class using the reaction class transition state theory (RC-TST) along with the linear energy relationship (LER) and the barrier height grouping (BHG) approaches is investigated. It is concluded that the RC-TST /LER approach gives a better performance than the BHG.
