Abstract

State Employees Association of North Carolina may affiliate with Service Employees International Union, a fast-growing labor union in the United States. The Board of Governors of SEANC voted to negotiate with SEIU for the proposed affiliation. The impacts of the union affiliation on North Carolina are analyzed.
