Abstract

A study was conducted to establish the efficacy of clopidogrel in reducing early failure of hemodialysis fistulas. Results indicated that clopidogrel is helpful to reduce the frequency of early thrombosis of new arteriovenous fistulas but does not increase the proportion of fistulas for dialysis.
