Starburst triarylamine based dyes for efficient dye-sensitized solar cells

Highly efficient starburst organic sensitizers are developed using starburst triarylamine as electron donor moiety. Introduction of a starburst triarylamine group as the electron-donor unit brought about improved photovoltaic performance compared to the single triphenylamine unit counterpart.
