Contractors expect to exceed last year's success

Most heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating contractors forecast improved business in 1996, according to a survey by Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News. Sixty-six percent of the 300 respondents believe their business will improve over 1995's results. The respondents indicated that sales increased from 1994 to 1995 for 68% of them. The survey also found that 63% of respondents believe their customers are aware that higher efficiencies are valuable. Goals that will help contractors achieve improved businesses are also elaborated.
