Identification of groundwater solute sources using boron isotopic composition

Background groundwater and water from anthropogenic sources at a site near El Paso, TX, showed different boron concentration and Boron stable isotopic values after injection with treated wastewater. This indicates that Boron stable isotopes are effective chemical and isotopic tracers for identifying various water types and sources.
