Abstract: A simple and efficient stereoselective synthesis of fluorine containing [beta]-aminophosphonates via reduction of [beta]-enaminophosphonates is described. The [beta]-enaminophosphonate can also be used as an intermediate for the regioselective synthesis of fluoroalkyl-substituted pyridines.
