Abstract: The design and construction of a permanent cyclotron magnet of variable magnetic field from 2.3 Tesla peak field to practically zero field and associated devices such as model magnet and accurate rapid field mapper are described. The studies have shown that the small field adjustment is possible along with the wide field range of variation such as ON and OFF.
