Abstract

DyBa2Cu3O7-delta and PrBa2Cu3-xGaxO7-delta are used as electrode material and junction barriers, respectively, in the fabrication of ramp type Josephson junctions. The junctions are subsequently investigated for their voltage-current characteristics at varying temperatures using standard electrical measurements. Results show that the junctions deviate from the ideal Fraunhofer pattern due to flux trapping.
