Party standings in holding pattern

Support for the major Canadian political parties remained fairly stable between April 1995 and March 1996. Support for the ruling Liberal Party has only flunctuated by 5%, ranging from 56% down to 51%. Statistical variations between Feb 1996 and March 1996 were almost none existant, with support for the Reform Party remaining at 13%, support for the Bloc Quebecois dropping to 11% from 13%, support for the New Democratic Party remaining at 8% and support for the Progressive Conservative Party rising from 11% to 12%. Support for the Liberal Party remained at 55%.
