Three-component coupling using arynes and aminosilanes for ortho-selective double functionalization of aromatic skeletons

New methods are described for simultaneous introduction of two functionalities into neighboring positions of aromatic skeletons based on a three-component coupling by using arynes and aminosilanes. A small amount of the three-component coupling product is obtained in the absence of benzoic acid, which has confirmed its main role in the present reaction.
