Abstract

The effect of the mechanical nozzle tolerance on droplet velocity and volume is examined by using mathematical models. These models are useful in isolating the effect of the mechanical nozzle tolerance on droplet velocity and volume from several other uncertainties and it is shown that a piezo-DOD inkjet printhead with a nominal nozzle diameter.
