Maximizing hydraulic system performance through total system design

Heil Co. sought the help of its suppliers, Dana Corp.'s Weatherhead Division and Gresen Hydraulics, to improve the performance of its mobile hydraulic systems and components. A systems design methodology was implemented to achieve longer product life and leakage reduction at less cost and manufacturing time. The end result was a system design for Heil's products in which various hydraulic components are coordinated for better equipment operation.
