Abstract

A study was conducted to examine the housing market in the United Kingdom. The government aims to construct 3 million houses by 2020. Based on economic theory, it is believed that the locations of these structures are important for living standards. It is concluded that significantly expanding London and other high-skill places in the United Kingdom can generate substantial rises in wages and living standards.
